A man is greedy species – a number of caged civets increased together with increasing popularity of Kopi Luwak. Civets are captivated and forced to feed exclusively on food preselected by their captors and thus robbed of natural variety and range. The beans that are produced by these unfortunate animals are of poor inferior quality compared to those gained from non-caged civets from Cluwak brand farms.

Non-caged means quality

Cluwak beans never come from caged civets. Asian Palm Civets can roam in the plantations that lie in their natural habitat and feed on the best ripe berries only. They are allowed to live in environment free of stress and thus effectively produce enzymes to enhance flavor of digested coffee beans.
